Tell me in a few words, who you are. How would you describe yourself in a short story.
Upcoming artist from Newnan, GA. I’m very versatile. I write about life experiences: love, pain, joy, etc. I’m a storyteller who has a lot to say.
What’s your stage name and how did you come up with it?
Beautifully Living Everyday Until God Answers N Guides Steps To Accomplishments (Bleugangsta)
What got you into music?
Music is my scapegoat. Poetry is what got me more into music. Music is a sound release for me. A place I can completely be myself and speak my mind freely. Music keeps me sane.
What was life like growing up?
Middle class, struggling to make it but made the best of what we had.
Who is your inspiration? What keeps you going to get up daily and put effort into your music career?
I used to say family but now I am my own inspiration. How can I expect someone to inspire me if I don’t know how to inspire myself. My trials and tribulations is also inspirations.
What is your creative process like? What is the meaning behind
your current single?
My current single “Finally” is my personal hype anthem. Finally got the confidence and courage I need to believe in myself. Finally finding my niche and committing to it.
What is the name of the current single/ep/album that you are pushing? Do you prefer people to buy it or stream? And why?
The name of my current album is “Session 9:13”. I prefer people to do both. Buy and stream. However you listen to your music; I am for sure you can obtain a copy of this album.
With the industry changing so much, would you stay indie or sign to a label? Why and why not?
I would prefer to stay Indie. It’s just a lot of shady self that happens behind signing a label.
Do you feel like the music industry has went down since the pandemic? Why or why not? Where you affected by the pandemic with music or everyday life?
I do not believe the music industry has went down. Music is life. Rather is good or bad. Pandemic or not. A lot of artist capitalized off the pandemic. As long as you know how to market your music during circumstances such as the pandemic; your music will still push. I personally, I wouldn’t say I was affected such by the pandemic.
If you were give a chance to sit down and have a business dinner with a celebrity who would it be and why?
I would definitely love to sit down with Missy Elliot. She a female mc who is still doing numbers in the music industry. I want to know how she did it, how still able to do it being a female itself in a world meant for men to dominant.
How do you balance everyday life tied into your music career?
I’m a very busy person. Outside my music life; I have a profession. It hasn’t caused any conflict between work and music life. I am still able to balance the two.
Tell me about your most memorable moment in your career?
Winning my first contest. I entered an all female competition alongside some dope female artist. This was my first time recording a track and performing it live. I’ve never performed infront of a crowd before. I was really nervous. After the show was over; I ended up winning the contest. I won $200 and a distribution deal. That boosted my confidence.
What style of music do you prefer to make? Would you ever try a different lane?
I love HipHop and RnB. I definitely love challenges and try to test myself with different genres.
Do you have a celebrity crush?
Ciara, Keri Hilson and Teyana Taylor.
Is there anyone who you would collab with right now?
HER, Jasmine Sullivian, Missy Elliot, Bruno Mars and Eminem.
Who is the producer and engineer behind your music?
I work with several producers and engineers. Just to name a few: Cronic Beats, Cpo, KCook Master, Marshall Black, QueWave, 813 Hyro, LingoTheBeatMaker, DJ Brad, Lil Rap Production, Stylish Ent., etc
What are you currently working on and what is next for you?
I am currently working on 3 different projects. Some clubs bop, some sap ish, and some real spit. I got some visuals I’m also working on. Some collabs with other artists. Stay tune.
When it comes to fashion, whats your dressing style ?
I have no words to describe my fashion really. I do what I do and I’m gone make it look good.
What is your creative process like and who inspired you to make music?
I am a huge Michael Jackson fan. I love Lauryn Hill and Lisa LeftEye.
If you could open up for one celebrity who would it be and why?
Young MA, and HER or Syd.
Any funny stories or an embarrassing moments you want to share with our readers?
I performed my track “Bisexual” for the first time in Tampa at Smoken Word. I was nervous as usual to perform something new. So as I’m performing I like to entertain and dance. So I acted out my lyrics and started to rap to a lady in the audience who was with her man. Everyone enjoyed it. The guy was laughing along with us.
What would you be doing right now if it wasn’t for your music career?
In the health care field during what I’m doing now outside my music.
